Ok, this really sucks. I spent 3-4 hours at least on cutting, fitting, and gluing the corners of my PVC shower pan. I cut the corners and then glued a ribbon shaped scrap to make watertight the seam. This all on top of the preslope of my 6' x 3' shower. After my glued four corners were good and dry, I glued two corner dams in for good measure, using all Oatey products: glue, PVC liner, corner dams, and drain. It has been sitting collecting dust while I work on some electrical wiring. Today I put a ballon in the drain and added water. THREE of the four corners leak!:wall: So I removed the liner, scraped off the silicone on the bottom section of the drain and bought some more dams and liner. I am getting ready to chuck it all and go with Kerdi but the drain I have is cemeted into the preslope. How do I make the liner fit into the corners??

what is the deal with open front toilet seats in public bathrooms vs. the regular round/oval ones in most homes? Is is for handicapped? How? They have been around long before rules for disabled access haven't they?
