gap between wall and sink

So I have a little problem. Dealing with old unsquare walls has me a little stumped. I'm looking for some suggestions on how to fill in this gap and keep it looking clean. I can't use the side splash cause of where the outlet is and no I don't want to move it. I really don't know how to finish this without it looking getto. Hope some of you here can help me! Here are a couple pictures to help you see my problem.

You try a piece of 1/4 round..or maybe a shoe molding to cover the gap...then caulk it at the sink level....
..or maybe just fill that gap with some cord, to take up some of the space and silicone caulk over that...!?!?!
