Kitchen sink is "sweating"

I noticed on a couple occasions that my kitchen sink has water beading up, or sweating underneath of it. Its a two bowl sink, one side has the garbage disposal hooked to it, the other side just a drain. The side with the garbage disposal has had beads of water collecting underneath of it. There is a square patch of rubber type material attached to the underside of the bowl area. What could be causing the water to bead up like that? It's probably dripping down on all the stuff we have stored under the sink. Any ideas? Thanks.

Kitchen sink is likely not insulated. When warm moist air or water meet the cold stainless steel, condensation forms and drops of water fall to bottom of cabinet. Sometimes it looks like you have a leak because so much condensation has fallen. Check to see if bottom of sink has an insulative coating on it. If not, you might want to consider replacing your sink with one that is insulated. In the meantime, you might want to relocate items stored under sink and cover interior cabinet base with plastic to protect cabinet. You can place an old towel on top the plastic to absorb condensation and change as needed.
