Plaster or Mortar Under Tub
I'm installing a new American Standard Renaissance Whirlpool Tub. The instructions say to support it with Plaster or Mortar.
1. Would ThinSet Mortar be OK?
2. Iterior Plaster or Stucco?
3. How much should I expect to need?
4. Should I just buy a bag or two and mix it myself or would premixed be appropriate?
Thanks, Joe

I used 2 bags of Thinset and contained it within a 2" high dam that I made just a little larger than the floor of the tub (not including the floor cutout for the drain)
