Toilet valve ghost

I have a Kohler toilet that has a 1.6 gal fill valve,3.5" flush valve,with a fluidmaster 400A fill valve . 1 year old
A problem has developed recently where the fill valve won't shut off on ocassion. I replaced the fill valve seat and checked the flush valve flapper and seat. Everything looks o.k.
and doesn't seem to be binding anywhere.
anybody have any suggetions?
Thanks

Ahh, one of those "don't be sitting on the toilet when flushing Kohlers". If it like the one I just installed for a customer, it clears in less than 3 seconds. Great. Check the filler tube to make sure it isn't sitting too deep into the overflow tube, and make sure the water is at least 1" below the rim. Other than what you have already done, this is a mystery. Ghostbusters?

Another queston. I was reading some of the other posts here on toilet fixes, and came across a post that said you can remove a fluidmaster fill valve in the tank just by unlocking some twist lock on the bottom of the valve and pulling up. Is this correct?
