Sudden Low Pressure Cold Water Tap?
The cold water tap for the kitchen sink is suddenly
running at very low pressure and just dribbling out of the tap.
Every other tap in the house is running at the normal pressure.
I have not altered or changed any of the plumbing that may
have brought this problem on.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Sounds as if you might have "gunk" in the cold water valve assembly - or a washer that is coming apart and pieces are lodging in the system. If you have a single handle faucet - remove the assembly and give it a thorough cleaning - while you're at it, you might want to add new 0-rings and springs (a repair kit is about $10 and easily installed). If a single cold control - take it apart and check for obstructions.
Another troubleshooting method is to disconnect the cold water line at the shut off valve (this is also when you check to make sure the problem isn't in the line prior to the faucet). If all appears good, you can turn on the hot water - and then the cold water valve. You can hold a wadded up rag over the faucet, forcing the water to "backflush" the cold water valve back through the cold water line.
