Delta Tub Faucet, warm water instead of hot?

I recently installed a new tub faucet and cannot get hot water, only warm. I know the problem is with the faucet because the previous faucet got extremely hot water. All the faucets in the house get very hot water as well.

I bought a Delta faucet with the one knob that you turn to the left or right to get Hot-Warm-Cold water. I believe this is my problem because it seems as though when I turn the knob as far as it will go to the left (hot water), it's still allowing some cold water through.

Is anyone familiar with these faucets? Do you know if its possible to adjust the knob or something so that I can get hotter water?

Thank you!

You obviously have the "monitor" series, where you can adjust it so scalding water doesn't come out and burn your children.

When all else fails, read the instruction manual.

I would have, but threw it all away after I installed it.

If needed in the future, you can always go to the faucet website for an owner's manual in pdf format.

I hope you saved your receipt--Delta has a lifetime warranty, and if you ever need parts, all you have to do is e-mail them, they may ask for a copy of the receipt, and they will replace parts for free, sent to you by mail.
