Moen shower valve problem
I have two showers, both of them have a single handle shower valves manufactured by Moen. One of the valves handles continue to rotate, there is no stop either for the hot or cold water, handle will just rotate . The other shower handle was loose. I tightened set screw, and now it's very hard to pull the lever out, although it works fine after the water is turned on. Both of the shower valves are approximately three years old.

If you remove the handle, you will see that a tang has broken off the inside of the handle which acts as a stop detent. Without it, the handle will continually turn without stopping. A new handle should solve the problem.
