Shower water temperature change

Have noticed that the temperature in our shower seems to have changed. If you turn the hot water all the way to hot it only seems to be warm to luke warm and it's only our shower that is doing this. If you turn the sinks on in that same bathroom the water is hotter out of the faucets then it is in the shower. Any ideas as to what may be causing this. Have not touched the temp. on the hot water heater so know it not that. Any ideas would be appreciated!

I had the same problem. It is because in the winter the water coming in on the cold side is colder and it takes more hot water to adjust it. Mine was a single lever delta, I went to their web site and found the instructions for increasing the hot water flow. It was real simple and only took about a minute. There is a plastic insert that stops the hot water valve from turning all of the way, I took it out and repositioned it so the lever could turn further and it worked. Be careful and don't get it too far or it will make for some water that is too hot.
