What options do you have on tub replacement to go to a stand-up shower?
Wife & I are purchasing an new-construction home. It's already built so this is nothing I plan on doing right away but the Master BR has a tub in it, and I really want a stand-up shower. The bathroom is large, but not so large that you could install a whirlpool tub. I was wondering what else you can do in the space of a bathtub. Can you make a stand-up shower with tile in the bathroom with a glass door in lieu of the tub?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yes, you certainly could. I went the other way. My bathroom had a huge shower that could have had a standard five-foot tub installed. I ended up moving the inside wall and installed a six-foot whirlpool tub. I've never been sorry.
