Bottom.

First take the cover back off, then inspect the condition and position of the rubber gasket. Replace if necessary and/or tighten so that the rubber gasket is behind the backside of the tub, all the way around, evenly, between the tub's backside and the flange of the overflow. Some gaskets are made more foolproof in the sense that they are split open so they go both over the edge of and around the flange, and when you rebolt up the cover, the gasket has to be centered, automatically.
