Toilet makes loud sound after flushing

After I flush, the toilet makes a loud sound and it continues for about 1 minute 15 seconds.

This toilet is in middle of the home on second floor. The other toilet on second floor is perfectly fine.

The sound is similar to that of kitchen sink disposer.

I did cut the first floor ceiling sheet rock below the toilet, but I find only the pipes.

Take off the tank lid and flush the toilet. While it is making the sound you describe, lift up on the float to stop the flow of water into the tank. If that stops the noise, then you need to replace the float and fill mechanism. Replacement kits are readily available at most hardware stores.

It sounds to me like you have a restricted water flow and pressure is trying to force the water through, which is making things rattle. A minute fifteen is a long time for the tank to fill.

Also check that the shut off valve is fully opened and allowing water to enter freely.
