Question about installing toliet on new tile.

Hi all, have a quick question. Im in the process of laying tile in my bathroom and now the floor is going to be about a 1/4 higher than it was before and Im wondering if that is going to cause issues when I reinstall the toilet. Im planning on tiling right up to the hole so the toilet will sit on the tile rather than laying tile around the toliet. Just wondering what I will need, if anything, to compensate for the added height of the floor. Thanks, Adrian

Your new wax ring 'may' be enough to take up the difference...but to be safe, you can get 'extenders' kit ('Master Plumber') which comes with 2-3 1/4" extenders and caulking to add to the original flange. Follow the directions included and you should be good to go!
