Toilet trickling/bubble after flush

Two issues with toilet.

1. It is constantly running a REALLY small trickle into the bowl. I can only assume that this means I need a new flapper vale right?

2. After a flush, the tube that fills the tank (as opposed to the bowl) bubbles under the water a couple times. Is this acceptable or does it mean that I'm getting back flow into my water supply?

Sounds like a shiney new flapper is in order or yours may just be seating itself a little off center. You can try to twist it to see if you can recenter. Also, sometimes someone replaces the flapper with a style that does not quite fit right. This will cause the seaping aroung the seal. If you buy a replacement, make sure it is compatable with your brand of toilet.

The bubbles are nothing to worry about.

I agree with czizzi. Touch your flapper. If your finger turns black or red, it has died. As cheap as they are, replacing it would be the best thing.
