shower stall leaking

shower stall leaking

hello , need too figure out whats the name of the shower stall i have here
this stall is leaking where floor meets thew walls its older 40+yrs.
it looks like it has a black long pencil thing in the crack where floor
meets the wall.

what would be a good good repair too stop the leak
then regrouting the thing

the walls have a bit of a hump in the furthest wall 4 tiles in a row
verticly right in the middle.

need advice plesse!

Do you actually mean where the floor pan meets the shower walls? And in that open joint you see black? What is the floor pan made of? New ones have a lip to prevent leaking, although in some cheap models the water can splash up off the floor pan and actually get up over that lip, so people caulk it shut. It turns black due to mildew. Water often gets down from above from bad grout or seams and actually gets behind and runs behind the caulk and mildews it that way.
