Toilet Flushing and Bathroom Sink..

My toilet doesn't seem to be getting enough "pressure" to send the water/waste down. Sometimes it will,, sometimes it won't. Around the same time this started happening,, the faucet next to the toilet started making this awful grinding noise when you turn it on, about 3/4 full and the pressure is VERY HIGH(like a fire hose,,LOL). Are these 2 problems related to each other?? Any and all suggestions appreciated.

It is possible you have a venting problem which can only be corrected by chugging the vent pipe with a garden hose (water off) from on the roof. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, call a pro. It ain't the fall, but the sudden stop that messes up your day.
The unrelated problem with the faucet is probably from a loose washer on the end of your faucet stem. Turn off the water, remove the collar nut and unscrew the stem. Look on the end to see if the washer is intact and attached firmly.

Other than renting a helicopter or bucket truck, no. But since you seem wary of doing the, please call a pro for that. How did the faucet thingy go?
