Faucet Making Clunking Sound

My single handle Delta kitchen faucet makes a clunk (sometimes a few clunks) when water is turned on. I have replaced the 2 springs and rubber seats. The "clunking" is intermittent. It happens with both the hot and cold water. No other faucets in the house are having this problem.

I need the cause and the solution please!!!!

Thanks, Nancy

First are the stop valves under the sink turned to fully on position? Are the pipes leading to the stop valves firmly attached behind the wall, or are they sloppy?

Does this faucet also have a sprayer? If so, your problem could very well be the diverter, that can be found inside of where the spout slips over. The diverter is a replaceable item.
