Closet flange Clearance

I have cement floor in my condo. The toilet flange is fastened directly to this floor. I will be installing stone tile on the floor. The thickness of my finished tile (thinset, tile, anti-fracture membrance etc.) will probably be around 3/4" to 1")

My question is if I use an oversized wax ring will I be able to make a good seal with my toilet?

I have cast iron piping and removing and re-installing the flange on top of the tile is something I would like to avoid if possible.

Thanks,
David

There are extension rings available, but not sure if they come that thick. Check a local plumbing supply house.

There are a couple styles of adjustable flange seals out now, most if not all use a large O ring that allows the top half of the seal to move up and down by rolling the O ring up and down inside the existing pipe.
Cant say if they seal any better than stacking several of the older style NO FLANGE WAX RINGs. 2 or 3 of those should give you an inch rise easy.
