Laundry sink with legs convertable to self-rimming?
I am in the process of finishing my basement. The laundry room will have some cabinets for storage, as well as a laundry sink. The plan is for the sink to be in a cabinet that matches the storage cabinets. The problem is that my wife is not sure what kind of cabinets she wants, and my building permit is about to expire. I think I need the sink in place before the plumber signs off and I get my C.O., though the cabinets don't need to be in place (I can do that later)
So, I'd like to get a sink in place now, then install it into the cabinet once they are ordered. I'd like to get a sink with legs, then remove the legs and drop the sink into the cabinet later. Does anyone know if such a thing exists?
Or, any other solutions/suggestions are appreciated.

Laundry sinks on legs normally don't have a rim, so you can't "drop" it in a cabinet. I would go ahead and buy the rimmed sink you want to install permanently, and build a rudimentary cabinet for it to sit in, all hooked up until the CO is issued. You will be installing permanent cabinets at a later date, and this would be perfectly usable until that time.
