Tub Drain Leak

We just installed a new bath tub and I have a small leak between the factory installed black plastic/rubber ring at the bottom of the tub drain and the tub itself. Is there any way to fix this. Thans

Remove the drain....

A small glob of plumbers putty , rubbed quickly between the palms of your hands to form a "STRING"

Wrap the string around the drain , screw the drain back down firmly and your done......Wipe off the excess that oozes out into the tub.....

Good Luck...

Thanks
