Water Temp in Bath Tub
Hello,
My temperature in my bath tub is luke warm at best, Bathroom sink, kitchen sink, clothes washer are all ok. I am suspecting some sort of mineral build up in the piping to the tub or the faucet etc...the tub is right beside the bathroom sink. therefore i suspect the fixtures. Any ideas thoughts????
Thanks
Kriola

You may have a temperature balancing fixture, which, if ill adjusted, will give poor supply of hot water. Is it a single or double handle? If you take the escutcheon off, you may be able to see a small screw on the fixture boss, which can turn the water off, either cold or hot. The screw head should be pointing in the direction of flow for a full flow. Let us know which valve you have and if you have checked behind the covers.

I have a single handle, this is good info I would not know where to begin, I have a friend coming over to take a look. I will show him your response.
