Crack in shower floor

How do you fix a soft area in the bottom of a shower that gets a crack without removing the shower?

I am assuming you have a fiberglass tub. There are fiberglass repair kits available to repair with and the tub won't be very pretty when you are done.
I personally would call a tub repair man and get a quote. most of these guys can pretty much make you a new tub on top of your old tub and it will be better than new. A little pricey but will solve the problem without removal of the old tub/shower.

The repair kit is the inexpensive way to fix it but hard to make it look good and no guarantees.

good luck.

Hi Hotech and welcome to the DIY Forums!

When you say, "a soft spot" do you mean it "gives" when you put pressure on it?

Are you able to view the boards under the shower, or is the shower on a first floor?

I agree this with plumbingods this is not a DIY project, but we need to know why this happened, not just how to fix it.
