Practical Experience with Interal fit Closet Flange

I have a situation where I have a 3 inch plastic DWV pipe coming through the concrete for a toilet.

In order to fit a closet flange on the outside of the pipe and at the right level for the toilet, I will have to remove a collar fitting and rework some of the cement.

I noticed they make flanges that will seat inside the 3 inch pipe therefore reducing the diameter somewhat.

From a practical perspective is this something to worry about/avoid or will it be OK to use.

Thanks,
David

i peersonally would never install an inside flange in 3" pipe. true that most toilets outlets are less than 3" also but i dont like to live dangerously.
