I have a reverse osmosis system installed under the kitchen sink. The air gap faucet that was initially installed was leaking and needed to be replaced. I found an air gap faucet to install, and successfully hooked up all of the lines. The problem is that now, when the water is turned on, the water flows out of the air gap hole in the faucet. I have unhooked the line from the drain, and simply put it in a bucket. When I do this and turn on the system, the water does not flow through the air gap, it trickles into the bucket. It appears that all of the water is coming out of the air gap hole when it is attached to the drain. I have checked that the drain is NOT blocked, and water does flow from the connection down the drain. I have shorted the tubing to flow more directly to the drain, thinking that it might somehow be related to that. I'm lost now. Does anyone have any suggestions?
