Bathroom: Does sink have to line up with stubout?

Hi,

New DIY'er here. So we;re in midst of a bathroom remodel and I'm designing a vanity for the bathroom sink. The problem is that the design we like for the vanity puts the drain of the sink, and the faucets for that matter about 8 inches to the right of where the pipe and water supply is stubbed out on the wall. Is it possible to make this install with some sort of extension on the drain and longer connectors to the water supply or do i need look for a new vanity that puts the sink square on top of the stubouts. Thanks in advance.

There are flex connectors for the supply lines & drain as well. 8 inches is nothing to worry about.

I wouldn't use flex lines on the drain, that's trash work and it's going to cause problems down the line.

Get some 45deg. fittings and hook it up that way.

Flex on the water is o.k.
