Shower pan leak
Can I put a piece of vinyl cloth and use adhesive substance to secure it to make a temporarily fix until I can afford to get a new shower pan and installed?

What type of pan?
When I had a leak, and before I renovated the bathroom, I used what I could.
Duct tape and plastic garbage bags work wonders. I made a whole custom tub surround with this material...LOL.
Do whatever you can to stop the leak. Of course if its leaking from the pipes thats another story.
