Bathroom Remodel - Currently has just tub, would like to install tub/shower comb

What all would be involved in installing a tub/shower combo in place of an existing just tub? What order would you be best suited to accomplish things in? Should you get the shower plumbing installed first? Should you remove the existing tub and little bit of tile surround and install the new tub first? Will you have to replace the existing sheetrock up top with some sort of tile board? If you install a tub/shower combo unit instead of tiling the walls do you still have to remove the sheetrock and put up some sort of tile board?

Are you replacing the tub or trying to reuse?

I would make sure that "tileboard" would be installed anywhere that water will be reaching.

Nope, and there pretty easy to install, just make sure there is a second pair of hands around and make sure the surface is level.
