Tub drain will not stay up
We bought a second home (hoping someday we'll be able to retire), and we are having problems with one of the tub drains. The little drain thing won't stay up. It's one of those kind that twirls and usually they stay up when you twist it, but this one won't. On another tub, I found a little screw that holds the top onto the part that stays in the drain, but I have looked and cannot find that screw, if that would even be helpful anyway. So it just goes around and around then falls back down. To get the tub to drain you have to stick something under it or hold it up the entire time it drains. The house was built in 2005. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!

I believe the part that you lift with your fingers unscrews not the whole stopper. Then under that tab is a screw. This will allow you to remove the stopper.
You may need to hold the stopper part with a pliers while turning the lift tap with another pliers.
