delta shower faucet water coming from tubshower diverter stem.

When we turn on the water using our single knob delta faucet, some water stilltrickes out the tub faucet when the stem is pushed in for shower mode. The water shoots out around the diverter stem hard enough to hit the far wall. The shower still gets sufficient wster for bathing. Can the stem or valve be replaced without much difficulty this is a one piece fiberglass shower enclosure above a standard tub.

We just went through all that ^^. Yes, the diverter can be changed but it's not always easy.
