How to Remove Jet Tub Jet
Hi everyone,
I have a 1997 house that came with a spa/jet tub.
Works fine except all the jets are cruddy and need to be cleaned.
I DON'T know the Mfgr (yet) and this is one where the tub FILLS through the jets, too.
Anyway, about 7 years ago I had plumbers over for something else and asked them to look at the tub for the same reason (blocked/cruddy jets) and they pulled them out lickety-split. He said, you just need to turn using the 2 indentations on the INNER (nozzle) part. I never actually witnessed the removal but saw the part in his hand.
Anway, if I use 2 slim screwdrivers I CAN turn the inner nozzle, but they don't come out - and I'm afraid to use too much force. I haven't tried to yank on them. They just keep turning and turning and don't really come or pop out.
Any suggestions?

I loosen them and turn the jets on for a sec. They pop out.
Be careful... They can fly and hurt you is you stand in front of them.
Once you turn then CCW you should be able to pull then out. held in with O rings.
