Need help to find a new diverter stem?

Can anyone help me to find a new diverter stem for this shower faucet? Picture is below. It is a three-handle faucet, in chrome. However, it does not have any logo on the faucet.

Or if you have info on how to fix this one, that would help too. When you turn the diverter handle, the shower will come on but water will still flow from the tub spigot.

Thanks,
PJ

Take the whole thing to the box store or real plumbing supply and have them match it up.

I took it to a plumbing supply store...the guy said "I am usually pretty good with these things, but I have no idea what type of faucet this has come from." He said it was probably imported, maybe italian.

You need to show the handles. Its a better indicator for leads to find the manufacturer.

Pretty sure its a docol.. Made in spain, but I believe an eljer product.

Thanks for the handle pic. Thats usually how I find stuff thats a rare item.

I would say this...Its the eljer/docol #

Eljer/Docol Diverter Stem 491-2658 AKA 491-2507 - Locke Plumbing

Or here.

Faucet parts

But I woud say it may be an actual docol with this #. Docol_89200 ( Maybe one and the same)

Here.

Docol 89200 - Diverter Cartridge

In hope I was able to help.... Make sure stem length is the same. Measure and check specs. I think I gave you enough info that you can find your own way now...

Good luck!!!!!

That is perfect...I will definitely measure and test before I buy. I will probably buy the wrong one (I always do), but this puts me in the right direction.

THANKS lawrosa!!!
