(simple) Low pressure on kitchen sink sprayer

It used to be that if you pulled the trigger on the sink sprayer, you would get 100% water coming out of the hose, and 0% coming out of the faucet. Now, it's about 50%/50% when squeezing the trigger.

I unscrewed the sprayer and found some tiny debris in there, but other than that, the aerator was clean. No improvement.

I figure this has to be an easy one, even though I'm stumped.

Delta and Moen single handle kitchen faucets use a diverter valve. It's pressed into the faucet where the spout swivels. The pic below is Delta but Moen is similar.

Silly me. I completely forgot about this thread until my wife got on my case about when I was going to fix it!
