Anyone know how to remove the handle? I dont see any screws....

whirlpool #BFG1F4034T3NOV , i tightened it as much as i could, plastic

Your going to have to turn off the water to the heater and drain it... Then remove the drain valve and replace it with a brass type... Or clean the old one... Possibly sediment is making it leak...

Additionally do you know the yr of the heater?

Aside from this issue if your meter spinning is accurate you may have a slab leak and the reson your hot water issue...

I know this is DIY but you may need a pro to come in to give you an estimate...

Mention slab leak to the plumber and he will know what to test...

i cant screw or pry these bathtub handles off. anyone know where to go from here.....
