Using caulk to seal cracks between tiles in shower wall
In a year or 2 i will be gutting my bath, but i just saw some cracks i want to fill in the meantime. Is it ok to use caulk instead of grout for small cracks in the wall of a shower?

If you mean cracks in the grout between tiles...yes...they make sanded caulk that will work. Color matching is the hard part. If you don't mind that...then go for it.
If you are only concerned about water intrusion....if the shower was built correctly...it shouldn't be an issue. Grout is porous anyway.
