Fiberglass tub crack temporary tub repair

I have an old fiberglas tub that has a large crack. It is about four inches and spiders several directions. I am going to have a professional repair this but it will be a couple of weeks before I can get to it because I have a renter in the home, soon to be moving out. I want to keep the damage under the tub from being too bad and to hopefully stop further damage however I dont want to do something temporary that will keep professionals from being able to repair correctly. I would appreciate any help. I cannot ask him to not shower for days so this will have to be a one day start to finish stop gap temporary solution.

Where are the cracks located? Do they appear to be small surface cracks or can one side of the crack move independent of the other side indicating that it has cracked all the way through?

If the crack goes all the way through I would contact the tub repair person and see what they recommend. They may suggest something as simple as Gorilla tape or some other waterproof tape to get by or they may move you up in their repair schedule.
