Sedal cartridge installation .... how tight?

I've finally found the correct replacement cartridge (thanks to an exceptional guy at the local Home Depot). The cartridge sits in a "barrel" and is held in place by a threaded cap (on top). My question - how tight to screw down the cap? If too tight will I distort the small blue gaskets on the bottom of the cartridge? Hand tight plus a 1/4?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
thank you

Sedal? Is that a brand name? Oh, I see it now on a search. Never heard of the brand.

Anyway, normally just snug it up, as on typical Delta style faucets. You don't need to really crank down on it. Ideally, snug it down, and turn on the water, check for leaks and proper operation, tighten slightly if needed.

No instructions came with it?
