replacing rubber washers on shower faucet problems
I started to replace the rubber washers on a shower faucet and have run into a couple of problems. The screw on the faucet on the right of the picture is stripped and I am not sure what to do to remove it. Also, this is unlike any I have replaced in the past. In the past I simply used a wrench to remove what I think is the faucet stem but with this one there is no access to the stem seat (see the pictures). So without the ability to remove the stem I can't even replace the washer on the left faucet control. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help.

You can use a screw extractor bit or drill out the screw head and remove the remaining screw by unscrewing with pliers. As for removing the valve body I can see the hex that needs to be unscrewed in your photo. Which part of removing the stem is the problem?
