Single handle faucet will not 'swivel'
My kitchen faucet, a Moen single handle, will not easily swivel from side to side. It seems to be rusty at the base and I have to push it really hard to move it. What can I do for that? Thanks in advance!

Shut the supply's off, back out the set screw (it may be metric) on the back side of the handle and remove the whole handle by lifting straight up.
Now you can unscrew the large packing nut in order to pull cartridge and see what's wrong.
Picture would be nice.
If it's all corroded it's often time for a new faucet.

Do you have hard water? May be a build up of calcium or lime. Vinegar or a product such as CLR or lime-a-way would help to loosen things up. Follow Joe's instruction to get things apart and then clean with on of these products.
