Bathroom widespread faucet stuck

Hello,

I'm trying to replace my bathroom's widespread faucet, but my old faucet is dead stuck. I removed the cap from the top and unscrewed the screw inside. But the actual handle won't budge coming off. Any recommendations on what I can try? I can't simply pull it off the top because underneath the base is a splitter larger than the hole.

Thank you!

Is that second picture of under the sink? If so back up so we can see the whole set up.

You can try to use CLR or a vinegar and baking powder mix to help remove the calcium and rust build up. But if its too corroded you may have to take more drastic measures.

A lot of wide spread faucets use a rough in kit that is installed first and then the handle trim is added after the fact. The handle screws down on top of the rough in. Take a wider shot of the handle from the top side and from under the sink. We may be able to determine the make of the faucet and give better advice.
