Can't Figure out how to Unscrew Push and Pull Drain

Hello everyone,

I attempted to remove the top portion of a push and pull bathtub drain and I cannot figure it out. I have removed one before but this one is different. I removed the knob on top and then looked in the hole and saw no set screw. I watched some videos on how to remove one without a set screw but they were twist and turn type drains. I'm not sure how else I can remove it.

I was able to remove it. I grabbed the shank of the drain with some needle nose pliers and grabbed the stopper with channel locks and unscrewed it but it turns out that it doesn't unscrew. It has a ball bearing that sticks out and gets pushed in when you push it into the drain body.
