Piping for washer outlet box

I am redoing our utility room and adding a washer outlet box with a drain. I have a utility sink next to the washer. Is it okay to run the outlet box drain into the drain pipe under the utility sink?

Washing machines need a 2" drain line by code while most sinks are only 1 1/2" but I've seen many piped with 1 1/2" without trouble. Also, you need to make sure to not double trap the washer drain. Most washer drain boxes have the trap located below them and if you tie into the drain under the sink you may run into it's trap. And lastly... why are you putting in a washing machine box and then tying it into the drain under the sink?
