I can't remove a tub drain cap!

I'm assuming it's a Moen push/Pull drain lift and turn drain and I can't remove the cap to replace the drain.. The chrome is flaking off..

It looks like the below and what's the trick?

Thanks!

The cap screws into a nylon or metal receiver/strainer. Once you pull up on the drain, just unscrew it. If it does not cooperate, you will have to look into the opening to see if it is free spinning and use a screw driver or other object to keep it from happening, but usually unscrewing it using the knurled handle works.

Are you saying the complete cap should unscrew or just the little handle on top? The complete cap just spins and spins...

Just the handle uncrews. You have to hold back on the cap...
