Need help with a faucet leak

Hi All, so today I noticed a drip coming from my bathroom sink. I was able to pinpoint the location of the leak, but couldn't determine if the seal has broken requiring a replacement or if it just became loose.

Image3: where it connects to (the opening is circled in red)

What do I need to do here? Help! It's a Moen faucet if it matters.

Yes, you need a replacement. Moen offers free parts for life.

Here's just a quick example of a Moen widespread connector, I don't know if they are universal, but you will find what you need. I would go straight to Moen website or call them.

Just FYI for everyone in the future. Per Moen, this is NOT covered under their "limited" lifetime warranty; however, as a courtesy, they are sending me a hose-kit.

Thanks.
