Rear discharge toilet to sanigrind pro
I am in the process of designing a basement bathroom. My plan is to use the sanigrind pro with an off the shelf rear outlet toilet. (Not the saniflo toilet pump combo). In order to keep the pump in a closet to provide easy access to this is it possible to have the discharge pipe exit the rear of the toilet, enter the wall and make a right hand 90 degree turn sloping down to where it would connect to the sanigrind? Would the 90 degree bend cause issues/clogging with this, or should it be a straight run out from the toilet to the grinder?
Could this also be done with the saniflo toilet pump combo? I only see straight shot extender pipe for through the wall applications.
(Rotating the toilet 90 degrees would just not let the layout look as appealing to the eye.)
Thanks for the input.

The Sanigrind is intended for use with a regular down-discharge toilet, so there is going to be a right angle bed with it too. As far as what you're thinking of, isn't that what a regular toilet does anyway - albeit through a glazed pathway? However it seems you might accomplish your goal by using a regular toilet plumbed as shown in their illustration.
