kitchen faucet

I had a new kitchen faucet installed ,and the plumber left me with T "handled" faucet Wrench in replacing
something in the new faucet.... seal? other end of T handle has a recessed square female end.

Thanks for any idea on this

If the tool looks like below, it's to remove a recessed aerator.

If it's a small metal hex key (allen wrench), it's to remove the handle on a single hole faucet.

I remembered after seeing your picture posts that its used to clean the faucet filter.
