Adhesive for shower floor "no slip" stickers

A couple of years ago, I put some of those no slip stickers on the floor of our shower, to give our feet some traction on the shower floor.

A couple of them are starting to peel off.

I'd like to know what the best adhesive is. I don't know if they need to be permanent, but I sure would like something that is longer lasting than the stuff that these stickers came with.

Any suggestions?

I'm starting to loose a few of mine too. Since they only cost about $6, I was going to buy another pkg. I think that they lasted about 2 years.

I used some of this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Put it on the tub floor in May 2014 and it is still going strong even though I didn't think it would work well it has.

Another choice of adhesive is a contact cement. You coat the sticker and the shower. Wait until dry to the touch and stick together. Very good holding power.

The biggest problem when fastening things to something like a shower floor is grease and soap scum. I'd use denatured alcohol or lighter fluid to clean both items. Let the stickers dry before trying to refasten them.

It might be best to get new pads and use the contact cement on them.

One of my favorite contact cements.....
