Disassembling a Moen Chateau kitchen faucet
Hi there,
I'm looking for the o-rings on my kitchen faucet, but I'm having trouble disassembling it far enough to get to where I think they are. I can break the faucet down to the point shown in the photos, but can't seem to get the black post off (not sure what it's called). I tried channel lock grips, but they slip off. Is this part supposed to come off? If not, where are the o-rings on this faucet?
I checked the Moens parts explosion for this model, but it doesn't make it clear enough for me.

Do you see the notches, on top of the faucet? You can do without it but there is a tool to unscrew that piece. Then you pull the faucet upwards which will take you to the O rings.
