Round iron lip toilet pipe w/o flange

Tried all sorts of options.....just don't know what to do so I'm trying a forum for the first time. Hope someone out there has seen this. Toilet tank cracked, water everywhere and no shut off....that should have been a clue the fix would be a challenge. Where's the flange??? Took the wobbly toilet off and the iron drain pipe has a rounded ring with out anything that resembles a flange or holes for screws. I believe they opened a hole in the wood floor to secure the toilet with screws and washers then a wax ring. See the Pics....

So I bought all the flange fix products...but the ring hole (secure toilet) fall right in the center of this ring. The actual hole inside the ring is four inches, the pipe bends at an angle within 2 inch of top and sit higher that the sub floor tiles. I put metal to secure the floor. Had a plumber stop by....????? He said no to crack the ring and lead in a new one and then suggested that I use the "Hydroseal" that I had found as an option. PLEASE>>>>>>> Has anyone seen the round lip and how do I add a flange that I can also secure the toilet with?

Sorry to say in spite of your reasonable photographic efforts, I can't tell what I'm looking at. Is is viewable from below? If not, could you post an image w/o the repair parts?

If it's 4" cast iron (approx 4-3/8" OD) you may be able to use an instaset flange.
