I wanted to simply add this to an old post, to show that I have the identical problem. The forum won't let me do that. Here is a picture: If you look at where the motor retaining clamp fits into its holder, you'll see that this is the same spot. My picture shows the solenoid valve, but I disconnected it and it is just floating there; it belongs somewhere else. I too have patched it with Liquid Weld, and then plan to put some caulking over the top of that. I expect it will hold for a long time.

Doesn't look like I have options from the top of the faucet. The cold water line is where the drip is at (I shut off the valve and no more drip). The way this is constructed it looks like my only option is to replace the entire faucet?
