utility pump for emptying toilet?
I seem to have alot of leaky toilets seals. Hence the need to streamline the job.
When you need to remove a toilet and you don't want to flush the water down, what kind of pump is best for removing water from the tank and from the toilet?
I'd like a pump that is self priming and tolerates running dry for a minute or two (during startup and when almost empty). Either hand powered or AC is fine, as long as I can empty the water within a minute or two.

If you use the shopvac make sure to remove the filter first.
Shut the water supply off first, flush the toilet to remove most of the water before using the shop vac.

Wow, I must be old school. I flush the toilet and then get a large sponge and a bucket to remove residual water from both the tank and bowl. What up, none of you ever get your hands dirty?
